Voracious capacity for reading
Insatiable hunger, ever feeding
Gorging platters of wording
All forming layers, layering
Inside this pit and congealing
Sedimentary rocks fossilizing
Ideas and beliefs collecting
Embedded hidden etchings
Created over period of time
All gathering dust and grime
This volcano of words lies dormant
Not dead, simmering and pregnant
Biding time eroding inside silently
Ready to spew lava words readily
Like released chromosomes after love
Swim hard to procreate, each other shove
These words too wait eagerly to emerge
Form meaningful strings and or a dirge
Lifetime sweet tart moments and experiences
To share freely this sum total of life’s essences
Activated, this volcano of suppressed words
Will erupt, belching searing lava cooling innards

So when I read this story, it unlocked a volcano of unanswered questions, because the questions  had never been asked. It was an opportunity to come to terms with the lot of repressed history – and history of repression .-Phillip Noyce Australian, Director

I feel like a person living on the brink of a volcano crater
