Three Sisters
Three Sisters
Walking own tangents
sisters three were we
like a spread palm of hand
with fingers hanging free
one was a terrific jack of all
a veritable paragon of virtues
the other a beautiful foodie
last a confused chick, shaky
like a rising phoenix the gifted
surmounted and survived all odds
the middle one opted for sweet love
basking in the bliss of domesticity
the youngest, a gangly oddball
ugly duckling learning to walk
one day transformed into a swan
suddenly glided off the family lawn
Nature and development take their own sweet time
Appearances are deceptive has been proven all the time
One man’s meat is another man’s poison surely and
Spoon feeding with overdose of love stunts growth awfully!

Spoon feeding in the long run teaches us nothing but the shape of the spoon.
