(A tigress took an orphan piglet under her wing)
Yes, We are Cute
I know, our unusual sight has made you mute
But you have to agree we are really very cute!!!
It is sad but true that the time of my birth marked my pig mom’s death,
I was plucked and laid by my present mom’s side to give me life’s breath
My godmother is one proud mom having birthed a healthy litter
And one more nursling at her breast has not made her bitter
Her fierce and royal looks were a sight to behold and at first all were aghast
When I was first laid at her side, to rear, give a safe haven and a milky repast
My lowly origin meant nothing to my foster mom as her heart was very large
She took me in her fold readily, calmly keeping an eye on me, her new charge
Now slowly a miracle has taken place and even though she is of a different ilk
We are bound tight forever by virtue of her nursing me and sharing her milk
We may appear mismatched and people may look at us as oddities
But now a strange osmosis has occurred in both of our disparate bodies
My once fierce momma has now become a bit mellow, nursing lowly me
And I have grown fierce and strong contrary to my nature, drinking her royal milk
We now love another very much and are constantly together
Our appearances are deceptive yet it is only our spirits that matter
A coincidence is a small miracle in which God chooses to remain anonymous.
Our destiny changes with our thought; we shall become what we wish to become, do what we wish to do, when our habitual thought corresponds with our desire.
