And then not
Womanly is she
Rags changing
Green to white
Browns to orange
Mood imbued
Their offspring
Rooted or not
Traipse often
Baulking
Accepting
Meditating
Perishing
Returning
Reinvented
Emerging thru’
Revolving door
Eternally
Cyclically
Allied to
Father time
Mother Nature
Nurturing

On burner
Steaming cup
Scalded cheek
Tongue bitten
Stiff fingers
Wistful eyeful
Grey locks
Nature’s graffiti
Hair confetti
Relentless march
Time unforgiving
Spirit unwilling
Body bowing
Jerking upright
Vainly walking
In tandem
wayward
Spirit-eternal
Sunshine
Inside out
Spilling
