Lost Connections
Upside down, reminiscing spent life
I wiggle and kick to cut the cord
To screamingly propel into new life
Past links fade and submerge
New links form as they emerge
Passionately I forward serge
Strong moorings over time
Wear out, no longer bind
Winking lights yonder blind
Primordial connections fade
Not leave, bide time knowing
Well, for them one day, you’ll pine
Connections once formed
Are truly indelible in time
Rejoining with a splice of time
Cycles of time
Connecting minds
Soul to soul bind
