Falling Up!

Sliding down slippery aisle

Born to be upwardly mobile

Head down to horizontal state

Vertically settled to parent’s elate

Do you know god she said

Lurking in the street corner

Jumping out of her talon reach

I thought we are thus headed

Ruing our trespasses reiterating

Promises meant to be broken

Until we break back of vices

To reclaim spot upwards falling

Life by nature veers towards source

Ever hurrying towards its life force

Ironically we dive, relive reinvented

Striving to achieve bliss, falling upended
