Reflections
Reflections are inflections
Not deflections
A truism -life be
steady unsteady
Wavering as life
Waving ebbing
Not waivers
They are affirmations
Life spans are same
As these reflections
Here today gone tomorrow
Sunrise to sunsets
Revolving doors
Portal to portal
Reflections are as real
As you and me
Footprint reflected in sand
Time obliterated to rebind
thus we meet n greet reflected
in grains of life again and again

Concoctions Of Life
(picture from internet- disclaimer)

Concoctions of Life
Simmering n steaming
Centered squatting
On life’s burners
Some edible concoctions
Some dismal fiascoes
Some delectable edibles
Some bitter gourds
Seasoned by sheepish grins
Gulped masticated reluctantly
Some bracing potluck
Demand of the time
Prudently dined upon
Some unforeseen failures
Imperfect mix of spices
Eaten albeit grudgingly
Life’s nature is to dish
We can either botch it up
Or convert into a royal feast
Cauldron
Potluck
Gourmet pan
Life’s what you CAN
Let us follow our destiny, ebb and flow. Whatever
may happen, we master fortune by accepting it. - Virgil
Life is accepting what is and working from that
-Gloria Naylor American, Novelist
Belief consists in accepting the affirmations of the soul; unbelief, in denying them.
George Eliot British, Author
Flow with whatever is happening and let your mind be free. Stay centered by accepting whatever you are doing. This is the ultimate.
Chuang Tzu c 369 BC-286 BC, Chinese Philosopher
Without accepting the fact that everything changes, we cannot find perfect composure. But unfortunately, although it is true, it is difficult for us to accept it. Because we cannot accept the truth of transience, we suffer.
Shunryu Suzuki Japanese, Leader
Nothing is given to man on earth – struggle is built into the nature of life, and conflict is possible – the hero is the man who lets no obstacle prevent him from pursuing the values he has chosen. – Andrew Bernstein American, Philosopher
