(from a feverish mind)

Corn silk hair fair

Spider in his lair

Praying mantis on side

Waiting for heady love bite

Playing possum in blanket

Wondering about Nantucket

Gift for me from boss friend

Still residing in wife’s pocket

Hubby on “helping hand” mission

My scrabble friend did me jettison

I twiddle my thumbs as mind numbs

Virus hula hooping in belly innards

How do I needle virus doll

Drown in umpteen tea cups tall

Virus is like a shameless thug’s moll

Bold, elusive, pushing to edge of bawl
