Fighting for breath
Breath after breath
Every puff
Robs breath
Until
New puff gives
Momentary breather
Of breathlessness
Breath after breath

Air to revive
Air to fight
Impure misery
What to inhale
What to exhale
Fighting for breath
One revives next denies
Breath
Respire or expire
Fight every breath
Breath to breath
Inches to death
Inhale exhale
Dilate airways
Combating breath with
Each fresh breath
Ironical isn’t it
A single breath
Can gag or revive
Or deny new breath
As I struggle
For breath against
Breath to intake or not
For life
ps.: its a struggle to breathe b/w allergies and fresh paint in house!
