After Rain

Indiscriminate rain clouds gave their all

Response came in earthy aroma, sprouts

Scrambling snails huddled scattered shells

Worms, gorging mini juggernauts, slithered

Muted chirrups retracted to refuges feathered

Overhead pearl drops shimmered in strung wires

Mopped dusty air, puffs of rejuvenating breath

Replete trees stand tall arms branched out

Leaves shaking shivers in euphoric frission, ecstatic

Life is dynamic ever changing moods, never static
