My Dreams

My dreams are cute n cuddly

Like tiny kittens and puppies

 

A desire to be thin and tall

Eating freely sans any appall

 

To keep my aplomb above all

Faculties honed and on the ball

 

To maintain my zest for life

To give joy, never create strife

 

To always heed to gut and heart

Keeping in check head’s dictate

 

To enjoy life not small but large

Seek adventures to self recharge

 

Go paragliding and see the Amazon

Fulfill all my life’s wishes thereon

 

Be happy and content with my lot

Squeezing out juices of life every jot

 

To see my grand daughter grow up well

Rejoice and let pride in her make me swell

 

Continue to be true to self and uncomplicated

Let my tongue be true and sweet, never acrid

 

Let me bring joy and cheer to everyone I meet

With an unhardened heart despite all life’s heat

 

Life is short, it’s all we got, wish to make most of it

No cribbing, simply live and let live and not be a twit

 

When end is near let me sashay into my beloved arms

It is my Lord who keeps me ever besotted with his charms
