Mirror Mirror x 2

I simply love this masterpiece!!!

Mirror mirror
Who am I
A dreamer
A schemer
do not lie
Mirror mirror
Am I lovely
Am I ugly
Mirror inside
Do not lie
Mirror mirror
are you spy
x-ray vision
inner division
sift swift
mirror mirror
do not dither
tell me good
tell me true
or rue
mirror mirror
give me stark
give naked
barebone
soul tattooed
mirror mirror
crack crack
smithereens
heel powdered
I like not seen!
Mirror mirror
made no promises
Your projection
My rejection
Delusion scores
*** **** ****
Mirror Mirror
Walking with soul in my palms
Promising to keep it from harm
I’ve bitten off more than I can chew
Stepping gingerly I affirm do not rue
Weeding out those habits that are questionable
But elevating in pseudo society impressionable
At end of day it is my gaze that I have to face
Will I be able to see self in mirror sans faze
It is easy to tread the path well trodden delineated
To find hidden beauty need to take path uncharted
Easy going remain in known confines like well frog
Adventurers find breathtaking views, faces all agog
To err is easy and makes for a comfortable life
Turning blind eye to rising qualms is the only fife
Sleeping deep, blemishes replete, are thick skinned
Heeding to rising murmurs is not for faint hearted
Walking with the soul in my palms
Promising to keep it from any harm
I’ve bitten off more than I can chew
Stepping gingerly I affirm do not rue

Reflective as the Picasso expresses. What we ‘see’ in the mirror is merely a reflection of what we ‘feel’ , for the truth is inside our soul, and it is not delusional. Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder…it is beholding to Self.
Love thy self and the world will love you back. Self-Image is painted on us by others. Clear the canvas and paint ‘your’ picture with your own colors of paint.

I liked this one! Kind of abstract but has substance. ‘soul tattooed’ was really nice. I liked those terms.
Cheers,
