 If  Life Were A Movie Reel…

I will undo the way I feel

For moments I was a heel

 I would edit my film and splice

Chop parts shameful in a trice

Jog past unhappy times in memory bank

Salvage cheery ones, all others will tank

 All meted out ignominies will undo

Dishing only pleasantries as per due

 Misbehavior to family and numerous others

Would wash repaint so it no longer bothers

I will recharge dead conscience and fine tune

Dishonesty exhume, burn and bury in sand dune

 Will be a receptive respectful child of loving parents

An understanding parent to own kids and other errants

 At the fag end of life with movie edited and spliced

I’d be at final rest meditating as it would’ve sufficed
