I HAVE SEEN GOD

When the innocent child smiles
I have seen god

When the puppy wags its tail

Vigorously in happiness

I have seen god

When the flowers are

In full bloom

I have seen god

When the heavens

Open up displaying

Thunder n lightening

I have seen god

When the bare trees

Turn green

I have seen god

When the snowflakes

Dancing in the air

Blanket all in pristine white

I have seen god

When the desert sands form

Awesome dunes n shapes

I have seen god

When the cyclones n twisters

Manifest  themselves

I have seen god

When the butterflies

Prance and hop sprite-like

Daintily from flower to flower

I have seen god

When a mother feeds her baby

I have seen god

When I hear Mozart

I have felt god

When I meditate

I lose my identity

Craving for god!

Sometimes it seems like God is difficult to find and impossibly far away. We get so caught up in our small daily duties and irritations that they become the only things that we can focus on. What we forget is that God’s love and beauty are all around us, every day, if only we would take the time to look up and see them.
