College Collage
Reminiscing down reminiscing lanes
Sweet and sour hilarious song refrains
Waltz steps in the head as moving trains
Hula hoop, twist, tango, cha-cha, rumba
Beatles, Elvis, Cliff Richard, Paul Anka
All vying and jostling to get first number
Unbridled by jr. school and family
Away we went to college merrily
First flush of youthful beauty blooming
And in mind and body curiosity looming
A new world unfolded before our wondering eyes
A paradise replete with moths, colorful butterflies
Dandies, nerds, geeks, freaks, addicts n prima donnas
One eyeing, other vying, some defying and few flying
Some attracted moths chased us and some we chased
Easy on eyes bodies appealed and onwards time raced
Fearing disdain hit by cupid’s arrow, my first crush
Sweet Adonis was he with a roving eye much too much
Movies, bunking, college canteen and other swinging joints
Seaside beach parties, musical sessions, startling viewpoints
As newbies during our first year standing hours outside the loo
Misguided by seniors for it to be principal’s office much to our rue
Sheepishly crept home vowing never to be taken for ride
Savvy, had a ball, bunking n studying, taking all in stride
Kleptomaniac, potheads, nymphomaniacs, lovers all were there
Had fun, sans experiments, enjoyed college became more aware
Reminiscing down reminiscing lanes
Sweet sour funny hilarious song refrains
Waltz steps in the head as moving trains
Hula hoop, twist, tango, cha-cha, rumba
Beatles, Elvis, Cliff Richard, Paul Anka
All vying jostling to get a first number
