Amber is fossilized tree resin (not sap), which has been appreciated
for its color and natural beauty since Neolithic times. Much valued
from antiquity to the present as a gemstone, amber is made into a variety
of decorative objects. Amber is used as an ingredient in perfumes, as
a healing agent in folk medicine, and as jewelry.

Drenched in streams coming my way in elongated
Fingers healing, wholly awash in serenity,
I daily leave for another day of earning ~

Mind wonders about this amber benevolence
Not yet limpid, as journey to inner self by self,
Has yet to be navigated~

Sappy mind, minds unearned windfalls
Accepting only those resinous amber trickles
That fall on sweating brow~

Tweaking twirling thought swizzle sticks
In the delicate stem glass of consciousness, I long
For that one mother of all, “aha” limpid moment~
